Olomola spent time with Arsenal as a schoolboy, before moving to Southampton back in 2014. The striker made his debut for the Premier League club in a League Cup game, before joining Scunthorpe United in 2018 following a loan spell at Yeovil Town.

The 22-year-old has only made six appearances for his parent club since then, spending time on another couple of loans with Yeovil Town and Carlisle United, where he is this season.

Football Insider report that his performances for Carlisle have drawn the attention of League One sides MK Dons and Tranmere Rovers, as well as League Two clubs like Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City.

A source at Scunthorpe has suggested they could recall Olomola to sell him if they get a good offer.

Olomola has scored six goals this season in all competitions, though he’s currently on a six-game drought in the league as his loan club struggle for results. Funnily enough, they still remain three points and two places above his parent club Scunthorpe in the same division.
