Ex-AC Milan Defender Alessandro Nesta: “Inter Seem To Be In Difficulty, Even Physically” | OneFootball

Former AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta has said that Inter seem to be in physical difficulty so far this season which is leading to poor form, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Speaking during an interview with Corriere della Sera today, the former Italian defender took stock of the current state of the big Italian sides in Serie A and their form.

He started by explaining that he thinks AC Milan and Napoli are the two teams that will be fighting it out for the Scudetto this season as they have the most complete set-up to deliver a league title.

“I was more sceptical last year. The team has grown. And then the others are struggling. I imagine a head-to-head with Napoli. They are the teams with the clearest ideas: club, coach, players. There is a precise planning.”

He then moved on to Inter and he said that they seem to be having some serious difficulties at the moment and they can not let the troubles that the club are in financially get to them on the pitch if they want to win the title.

“From the outside they seem to me to be in difficulty, even physically. Are they affected by the club’s difficulties? If so, they must not be. It’s up to the players, the coach, the management to make a team and overcome crises. But it needs to be done quickly.”
