The 2021/22 LaLiga season is almost upon us and it promises to be another thrilling campaign.
Reigning champions Atlético Madrid are likely to mount a strong defence of their title but you can never rule Barcelona or Real Madrid out, despite their difficult summers.
Espanyol and Mallorca both came straight back up after being relegated in 2019/20, with Rayo Vallecano also returning after finishing sixth last season and entering through the play-offs.
Let’s start with the big one: Zinedine Zidane left Real Madrid and was swiftly replaced by Carlo Ancelotti who previously managed Los Blancos for two years.
Elsewhere, Voro was replaced by Pepe Bordalás at Valencia, with Míchel replacing the Bordalás-shaped hole at Getafe.
Robert Moreno took over at Granada, succeeding Diego Martínez, as José Luis Mendilibar was also replaced by Gaizka Garitano at Eibar.
