Unlike the ePremier League, Tekkz and Matias will be playing solo with them playing in Group A and Group C respectively.

And they will both play on Saturday, with games starting from 16:00 (UK).

The competition is a round-robin format in which the best 24 players from the eight groups will progress to the next stage which will see the best players in Europe compete for a place in the Grand Final via a single elimination bracket format the following weekend.

In Tekkz's group, he will play against Neat, Montaxer, JP Sleator and Ekmenn94.

In Group C with Matias, he was battle against Emre Yilmaz, Virgil, Feldman and Domasas.

Both will be looking to start the competition strong with Bonanno looking to go one step further than his result last season when he placed second.

Tekkz was crowned the eChampions League Invitational Tournament winner in 2020 when the original competition was cancelled because of COVID-19.

He'll be looking to win the competition and become the first player to win the prestigious European showpiece for a second time.

The draft for the eChampions League will introduce the UCL-themed squad building requirements, which means City's duo will need to work within a set in-game budget based on transfer market values to choose UEFA Champions League Ultimate Team player items for their roster.

You'll be able to watch Tekkz and Mati compete live on the EA SPORTS FC PRO Youtube and Twitch channels, as well as UEFA's Youtube, TikTok and Instagram.

More information on the latter stages of the competition will be available on mancity.com and the Official Man City App later this month.

Everyone at Manchester City would like to wish Tekkz and Matias Bonanno the best of luck competing in the eChampions League over the coming weeks.
