Josip Juranovic yesterday spoke ahead this evening Cinch Premiership match at Celtic Park where Celtic welcome the visitors, Hearts. The Croatian full-back is currently enjoying a run in the side with Greg Taylor sidelined after he sustained a shoulder injury during action for the club. Juranovic has grasped his opportunity lately having some excellent performances in a position that isn’t his natural side.

The young Croat is loving life at Celtic currently and cannot hide his enthusiasm which beams from his face through that infectious smile. He revealed he is extremely happy at the moment and is feeling settled which is always great to know from a supporters’ point of view. Speaking at the Celtic Media Conference earlier today on him enjoying his time at Celtic Park so far, he said: “Really well. People are great here in the club. Everything is wonderful. Really the best time in my life.”

Juranovic also went on to detail why his life at the club is so fantastic and it will have the Celtic Support buzzing for what’s to come from this group of players, with more on the way via the January transfer window. On why he is so happy, he said: “Here at the club, everything is wonderful, and it’s the best time in my life – because we’re playing well, we’re here like a family, we support each other and that’s it.”

A ringing endorsement if ever there was one as to the new and improved culture Ange Postecoglou has brought since his trip from Japanese football to Glasgow’s East End. Juranovic has struck up a friendship with our veteran goalkeeper and former England number one, Joe Hart. The pair have been pictured dining out together and look to have great cammeradiere between them. This isn’t exclusive to Joe and Josip however, as the whole team seem to have a beaming smile on their faces and that only comes with team spirit.

We are certainly blessed to have been gifted with such a spirited group after the pathetic and lacklustre performance last year in our beloved Hoops. We all look forward to seeing how far this family can come under the tutelage of Ange Postecoglou and hope silverware isn’t far away. There could be more reasons to smile looking ahead.
