Albania

More football shirts should have collars, so with that in mind this Albania home shirt gets the okay from us.

Away

Albania have been placed in this summer’s Group of Death against Spain, Italy and Croatia but if they do go out at least they’ll be doing it in style. Good luck lads!

Austria

It’s a strong start so far with another kit of absolute beauty, this time from the Austrians.

Away

The marketing garb tells us that this white shirt with dark blue accent details mirrors the nation’s affinity for nature and exploration. We’re not having that exactly but this is one of the best kits of the Euros, for sure.

Belgium

Belgium come to Germany this summer with two gorgeous kits but it’s the away jersey that has garnered most of the column inches.

Their light blue number is based on the outfit worn by famous Belgian cartoon character Tintin and it really is a thing of wonder.

The best of the tournament by far.

Croatia

Home

The classic Croatia chequerboard has been updated for this tournament with larger quadrants and the word Obitelj (Family) stitched into the collar.

Away

Croatia’s new away kit feature slightly slanted chequers that pay homage to the shirt worn by the team that reached the semi-finals at World Cup 98.

Czech Republic

Home and Away

Puma have gone straight down the line with this latest Czech Republic kit with both jerseys featuring an abstract print that incorporates their double-tailed lion crest.

Denmark

Home

Denmark are very much Denamrk-ing with their latest shirt but one lovely touch from Hummel is the inclusion of the names of the country’s 1,535 football clubs.

Away

Collar? Tick. Made by Hummel? Tick Generally exuding a sense of Scandi cool? Tick, tick, tick.

England

Nike have produced two of the best England kits in ages for the summer that football might finally come home.

Both home and away shirts have earned almost universal praise … apart from that embarrassing flag controversy from earlier this year.

France

France have gone back to the Michel Platini-era kits of the 1980s with their latest from Nike.

What’s French for ‘Magnifique’?

Georgia

Home and Away

Georgia have qualified for their first every major tournament with Napoli sensation Khvicha Kvaratskhelia leading the charge

They’ll be doing so though in these fairly middling Macron numbers.

Germany

Home

This could be the last adidas kit we see Germany wear for a while and, if so, it’s a doozy. The flag detailing on the shoulders is especially excellent.

Away

The Mannschaft have abandoned their traditional green for this summer’s away shirt and gone for a controversial hot pink.

It’s not gone down too well in some quarters but we’re here for it.

Hungary

Home

Hungary’s kit incorporating the country’s flag is a good one, but it gets taken to the next level by that centralised old school adidas logo. More of that please.

Away

All the principles of Hungary’s home kit are their in the away jersey – except it’s white. We love it. A top five for the tournament.

Italy

Home

The reigning European champions travel to Germany this summer with one of their best ever jerseys. It’s an absolute stunner.

Away

Two words: ‘Mamma’ and ‘Mia’.

Netherlands

Home

We’re being told from the marketing that this latest tone of orange in the Netherlands kit celebrates the vibrancy and creativity of Dutch culture. Lekker.

Away

The Netherlands away kit in contrast offers up three different shades of blue with a minimalist graphic underlaid into the jersey. The orange collar and cuffs are an especially nice touch.

Poland

Home

As noted above, a centralised badge is a big win for us but otherwise this very much looks like a Poland kit.

Away

The all-red away shirt though is a big winner. The shadowy tones on the shoulders are a great addition.

Portugal

Home

It’s red with a green and blue collar. It’s hard to get a Portugal kit wrong and luckily Nike haven’t done so this year.

Away

Alongside Belgium’s away shirt, this blue mosaic effort from Portugal might be the best shirt of the tournament. A stone cold classic.

Romania

Home and Away

Joma have really stepped things up this summer with these Romania kits. A simple block design in the colours of the country’s flag. It’s clean, timeless and pretty bloody nice.

Scotland

Home

A modern twist on some traditional tartan is what adidas have gone for with Scotland’s latest home jersey. Can they release their inner Braveheart in the tournament’s opening game against Germany? We’ll find out soon.

Away

Inspired by a Scotland kit from the 90s, this latest away jersey is one of the most eye-catching of the tournament. You could call it ‘bonnie’.

Serbia

Serbia are back at the Euros having last appeared in Euro 2000 as Serbia and Montenegro.

A nice detail on the away shirt is the knitted sleeve cuffs inspired by the mystical Đavolja Varoš (Devil’s Town) rock formation on Radan Mountain in South Serbia.

Slovakia

Home and Away

For the third tournament in a row, Slovakia are here and they’re not just going to Germany to make up the numbers.

The Slovaks are in Group E alongside Belgium, Romania and Ukraine and will be stepping out in this gloriously retro Nike Tiempo template.

Slovenia

Slovenia could well be the surprise package in Group B as they get ready to face England, Serbia and Denmark.

With RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško leading the line in these rather dashing jerseys, we could be seeing a bit more of these Nike numbers than otherwise expected.

Spain

adidas haven’t strayed to far from a classic Spain jersey for this latest edition with the shirt including wavy patterns at the base, which blends shapes of the country’s national flower – the carnation – and the seas that surround the country.

Away

The away shirt meanwhile is a vibrant shade of yellow which is supposed to mimic a Spanish beach in the middle of the day. Si señor.

Switzerland

Are Turkey this year’s ‘dark horses’?

Of course not but both of their Nike shirts this summer are veering towards classic territory.

The red home jersey celebrates a century of the Crescent Stars. The famous red band across the front of the shirt features a curved top and printed crease lines, modelled after the look of a flag-draped around a player’s shoulders

Ukraine

It’s always good to see Ukraine at a tournament and this brilliantly simple yellow number from Joma, we’ll be glad to see a lot more of them at the Euros.

Away

Ukraine will be moving to an adidas kit after the Euros but Joma have really pulled it out of the bag for this blue away shirt.
