What's the latest news involving Brands?

Since Brands started his role at Everton, the club have been through their fair share of managers, including Marco Silva, Carlo Ancelotti and now Rafael Benitez.

Meanwhile, Doucoure appears to have grown in stature at the heart of the side's midfield this season, and is now one of the first names on the teamsheet.

Yet Brands' best work may actually have come in the most recent transfer window. Everton added Demarai Gray and Andros Townsend to their ranks for a combined fee of just £1.8m, and the pair have .
