Liverpool know that nothing but victory will do when they face Everton in Wednesday's Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

The Reds got things back on track with a 3-1 win over Fulham at the weekend and will be aiming to build on that display when they visit their local rivals.

Everton's controversial 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest moved them five points clear of the relegation zone on Sunday but the Toffees are still desperate for points in their bid for survival - especially with fears over even more points deductions.

Therefore, Wednesday's derby is as crucial as ever, with Liverpool having won just one of their last six visits to Goodison Park.

Here is the latest Everton team news ahead of a huge fixture.

EVERTON TEAM NEWS VS LIVERPOOL

Everton haven't got a mountain of injuries at present, but Sean Dyche certainly has a few fitness issues to monitor ahead of Liverpool's visit.

One player who is definitely sidelined for Wednesday is right-back Nathan Patterson after he suffered a season-ending injury during the 6-0 defeat against Chelsea. Former Tottenham star Dele Alli is slowly getting back to fitness, but no timeframe has been placed on his return.

Everton also have a number of concerns in their forward line, with Beto substituted with a worrying head injury against Forest. The forward was stretchered off and then taken to hospital after a nasty clash, but Dyche has suggested that the "early signs are good" for the former Udinese striker.

However, he won't be available for Wednesday, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin also a doubt after being withdrawn due to a knee injury on Sunday. Dyche suggested it was a precautionary measure, but he remains a doubt for the derby.

Young Lewis Dobbin is sidelined at present and is still working his way back to fitness, but Seamus Coleman could be back for Wednesday after being "touch and go" for the clash with Forest.

If Everton are without their three forwards on Wednesday, summer recruit Youssef Chermiti may have to lead the line.
