Everton’s Youssef Chermiti has undergone minor surgery on a foot injury sustained in training.
The 20-year-old made the move to Merseyside last summer, after coming through the youth ranks at Sporting.

Chermiti made 18 Premier League appearances last season, and joins the likes of Seamus Coleman, Abdoulaye Doucoure, and Michael Keane on the treatment table.
No timeframe has been issued by the club on Chermiti’s potential return to action.
