WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Blue Girls this afternoon.
Hayashi joins Everton after leaving former club West Ham United at the end of last season.
The 26-year-old Japanese international midfielder has spent the last two years playing in the Barclays Women’s Super League. She made 42 top flight appearances for West Ham United in which she scored three goals. The player has also represented Japanese club Cerezo Osaka and Swedish side AIK Fotboll in her senior career to date.
Hayashi impressed with former club West Ham United and she will be hoping to make an impact again with new club Everton.
After joining Everton, Hayashi said “I am honoured to join such a big club as Everton. I was looking for a new challenge, and I will do everything I can to help the Club succeed. I am looking forward to playing in front of the amazing fans.”
Hayashi is currently away with Japan at the Olympic Games in Paris. She will link-up with her new teammates once her nation’s participation in the tournament has concluded.
The midfielder becomes Everton manager Brian Sørensen’s third signing of the summer transfer window.
