Everton manager Sean Dyche could 'pull off a scalp' by leading the Toffees to a result in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool next Monday, transfer insider Dean Jones has told GIVEMESPORT.
Both sides go into the match in need of some much-needed momentum to kickstart their season in what could turn out to be an entertaining affair at Anfield.
Since being appointed at the tail end of last month on a two-and-a-half-year deal, Dyche has got to work on the training field to try and put the groundwork in place to save Everton's season.

The Blues lie 18th in the Premier League table at present, with just goal difference separating them from Leeds United in 17th position.
Of course, the 51-year-old has already made a huge early impact at Goodison Park, leading Everton to a crucial 1-0 victory over league leaders Arsenal thanks to a James Tarkowski winner in the 60th minute.
In a match where the hosts restricted the Gunners to few chances, Dyche managed to successfully deploy a 4-5-1 formation to his advantage, with the extra man in midfield helping to allow the likes of Amadou Onana and Abdoulaye Doucoure to make an impression in both boxes.
Transfer insider Jones believes that Dyche could cause an upset by guiding Everton to a result at Anfield, which would set them up nicely for a winnable run of Premier League matches.
Jones told GMS: "The framework is there now for them going into a Merseyside derby to actually pull off a scalp that completely transforms their season because, after that, they've then got a couple of really winnable games against teams in and around them, that again, can propel them and ultimately save their season.
Taking into account his start to life as Everton boss and his track record of overachieving with Burnley, there is no reason to suggest that Dyche can't keep the Toffees in the Premier League.
The 51-year-old managed to keep Burnley in the English top flight for six consecutive seasons in his tenure at Turf Moor and has already started to get off to a winning start at Goodison Park.
One thing that will concern Everton supporters is their squad depth, especially when assessing their slim options in the forward line. Dominic Calvert-Lewin picked up a knock in the triumph over Arsenal and Dyche now faces an anxious wait to see if he will be available to lead the line against Liverpool.
Suppose the England international was to be ruled out. In that case, Neal Maupay and Ellis Simms are the only natural replacements available to provide a focal point in attack unless someone like Demarai Gray was used as an auxiliary centre-forward.
