Everton continued their preparation for the upcoming Premier League season with a win over Preston North End, and their summer business is already showing promise after two new signings found the net.
Tim IIroegbunam and Jesper LindstrÞm were both named in the starting XI, with Illman N'Diaye and Jake O'Brien among the substitutes for Sean Dyche's side.
Introduced at half time, it took O'Brien just 15 minutes to open his Everton account, rifling home from the edge of the penalty area to double the Toffees advantage after Dominic Calvert-Lewin had handed them a first half lead.
But not to be outdone, fellow new addition LindstrĂžm curled home a sublime free kick just minutes later to put the result beyond doubt.
Having scored just 40 goals across the whole of the last Premier League campaign, Everton fans will be happy to see that their new signings know where the back of the net is.
