Some clubs have bogey teams, some clubs have bogey grounds. Everton have a bogey player.
His name is Danny Ings, and he gave Aston Villa the lead over the Toffees with a smart turn and finish in Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off.
That was the seventh goal Ings has scored against Everton, more than he’s managed against any other club.
His first-half goal helped Villa go on to win 2-1 against Frank Lampard’s side.
And he’s a former Liverpool player too. That’s gotta hurt.
