Talks between the two clubs have progressed positively, with negotiations being handled by an English intermediary.
Under contract at Strasbourg until 2024, Ajorque scored 12 goals in 36 Ligue 1 matches last season.
Strasbourg are ready to sell the attacker and promote Habib Diallo as his replacement.
