Everton make contact with Juventus for Douglas Luiz | OneFootball

Everton have been one of the clubs interested in Juventus’ Douglas Luiz and the Toffees have now made contact with the Serie A giants.

Calciomercato have reported that Everton have been monitoring the midfielder for weeks now and are intent on signing him.

They are now in touch with Juve for the player and are ready to make an offer. Everton want to buy an initial loan deal with the option to buy him permanently, as the Toffees want to initially assess the situation and then decide on a permanent move.

Juve are looking for a permanent sale as they want to cash in permanently, with Everton having to pay as much as €40 million for the Brazil international.

A host of clubs like Newcastle United, Fulham and Crystal Palace have been linked with Douglas Luiz and Manchester United have tried to sign him in the January transfer window.
