Journalist Paul Brown reckons that Richarlison isn't enjoying playing under Rafael Benitez at the moment.

How has Richarlison performed this season?

The Brazilian has a WhoScored rating of 7.10 in his opening four Premier League matches this season. And whilst that's a solid return, it's the seventh best in the Everton squad, which says more about their impressive start to the campaign than Richarlison's form.

But the reason for his rating is largely down to his 8.7 man of the match display against Southampton on the opening day when he volleyed home the equaliser before crossing for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to make it 3-1.

Since that assist, the £77m-rated frontman hasn't contributed to any of Everton's last seven goals and looked angry when he was substituted against Burnley on Monday evening.

Everton have enjoyed another brilliant start to the season, collecting four points from their opening 10 matches, but Brown singled out the Brazilian as one player that doesn't seen to be loving life under Benitez compared to some of his teammates.

He told GIVEMESPORT: "The one person who's not enjoying it at the moment seems to be Richarlison, and he absolutely hates coming off in a game. And if he hasn't scored, you might as well forget it being a great day for him."

Does Richarlison have a point?

With Everton flying high near the top of the Premier League and Richarlison starting every week, he has absolutely no reason not to be enjoying his football.

Did Dominic Calvert-Lewin score on his Premier League debut for Everton?

Yes No

But like any top striker, the 24-year-old loves scoring goals and following three games without one and teammates Demarai Gray and Dominic Calvert-Lewin on the scoresheet regularly, it's no surprise that he cut a frustrated figure when he was taken off on Monday.

However, with Everton scoring at a frequent rate, Richarlison should get plenty of opportunities to add to his tally in the coming weeks.
