Everton boss Frank Lampard ‘will look to have conversations’ with Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja ahead of a potential move to Goodison Park, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

The Toffees staved off relegation from the Premier League and, having taken over as the club’s manager in January, Lampard could look to bolster his squad when the summer window opens next month.

What’s the latest news involving Gallagher and Broja?

Gallagher and Broja have returned to Chelsea after their respective loan spells at Crystal Palace and Southampton came to an end at the season’s climax.

Having made 648 appearances for the west Londoners during his playing career and also enjoyed a spell in the dugout, it appears Lampard could head back to familiar surroundings to reshape his squad.

That is because, according to talkSPORT, the Everton chief is hoping to persuade Gallagher to join him on Merseyside.

The report suggests Lampard will keep a close eye on the £22.5million-rated central midfielder’s situation following his return to Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, Jones has previously told GIVEMESPORT that a reunion with Lampard could be on the cards for Broja.

What has Dean Jones said about the duo?

Jones believes Lampard will look to take advantage of his Chelsea contacts when the summer window opens for business.

The transfer insider is certain that Gallagher and Broja are on the 43-year-old’s radar.

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “Lampard will fall back on what he knows and what he’s good at – that’s going back to Chelsea and looking at players he knew in the set-up there.

“With the Conor Gallagher situation and Armando Broja, they’ll definitely be two players that he will look to have conversations with over what he sees the future being for them at Chelsea.”

How did Gallagher and Broja perform this season?

Gallagher scored eight goals and chipped in with another five assists over the course of 39 Crystal Palace appearances, which was enough to win the club’s player of the season award.

The 22-year-old’s performances also caught the eye of England boss Gareth Southgate, who handed the central midfielder his first three caps while at Selhurst Park.

Meanwhile, Broja found the back of the net nine times during his spell with Southampton.

However, the £16.2million-rated frontman failed to bag a Premier League goal since February and his lack of end product coincided with the south coast outfit dropping down the standings as the season reached its climax.
