In recent days, several media outlets have reported that Manchester City have offered €40m plus up to €5m in add-ons for the Grêmio star.
In addition, City are believed to propose a five-year contract worth €4.5m annually.
Speaking in somewhat of a farewell tone after Brazil secured their passage to the Copa America semi-finals, Everton re-iterated that he will only focus on his future following the conclusion of the Seleção’s tournament.
“Whether I say goodbye or not, I always tried to honour Grêmio’s shirt,” Everton said at his home stadium.
“I am grateful to this club. We’re still going to decide things.
“I told people connected with me that if there was any proposal here at the Copa America they should leave me alone so I can focus here.
“But I am happy because I am happy I have been able to repay everything they bet on me.”
Everton has shone at Copa America with a series of spectacular performances and has two goals and an assist to his name.
According to Globoesporte, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, Milan, and Bayern Munich have all kept Everton on their radar.
