Everton have reportedly expressed an interest in Lyon forward Bertrand Traoré.
Traoré endured a mixed 2018/19 campaign, scoring 11 goals and assisting three in 45 appearances.
According to Telefoot, the Toffees are hoping to pay €30m for the 23-year-old, who could leave in search of first team football.
But Lyon – particularly through president Jean-Michel Aulas – are strong negotiators and could hold out for €40m.
Traoré can play out wide or through the middle which appeals to Marco Silva, who likes a fluid frontline.
David Neres is also on their shortlist following his impressive season for Ajax.
