Everton are interested in signing Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker, according to The Telegraph.
Walker joined Manchester City in 2017 for £45 million and has since contributed to multiple Premier League titles and a Champions League victory.
Walker’s role has diminished in recent seasons, leading to a loan move to AC Milan in January 2025.
However, Milan chose not to make the move permanent, and Walker is now exploring his options for the upcoming season.
The England international is currently on the fringes at Man City and is expected to leave this summer with one year remaining on his existing deal.
Fenerbahce recently tabled an offer, but they are set to face competition from Everton.
They are looking to strengthen their squad, particularly in defensive positions. Walker could prove to be a shrewd addition to the Everton backline.
His versatility, capable of playing both right-back and centre-back, makes him a valuable asset for manager David Moyes as he seeks to strengthen his defensive options.
Everton finished 13th in the Premier League last season and will be eager to make further progress when they relocate to their new stadium.
Discussions are ongoing with Walker’s representatives, although the Toffees are yet to make a formal approach to Man City.
Walker left English football for the first time in his career in January, but could favour remaining in his home country for the latter stages of his illustrious career.
