Everton will once again return to the African continent this summer to compete in the 2019 SportPesa Cup, where they will face Kariobangi Sharks.
The match will take place on 7 July, and is Everton’s first announced pre-season friendly for the upcoming season.

The East African side defeated fellow Kenyan side Bandari FC 1-0 in the SportPesa Super Cup final back in January to earn the right to host the Premier League side.
SportPesa, the official shirt sponsor of Everton, announced the match on their social channels.
Everton faced Kenyan side Gor Mahia twice last year, once over the summer in a 2-1 SportPesa Cup victory in Kenya, while the Toffees defeated them 4-0 in a mid-season friendly back in November.
