Everton have agreed a deal to sign Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus, according to The Times journalist Paul Joyce.

The Ghanian international is set to move on loan to the Toffees for the 2022/23 season with a view to a permanent move.

The 22-year-old, who can operate as a central midfielder, a ‘number 10’ or in centre forward, is set to follow Amadou Onana, James Tarkowski and Conor Coady through the doors at Goodison Park this summer.

Kudus arrived in Amsterdam from Danish club Nordsjaelland for around €9m in July 2020 and has scored six goals and provided four assists in his 45 appearances for Ajax.
