Frank Lampard is hoping to build a squad capable of improving on their disappointing season in 2021-2022 and the Toffees have been linked with the £33.5m-rated Tottenham duo.

What’s the latest news involving Winks and Lucas?

According to the Telegraph, with Tottenham are interested in signing Richarlison, the north Londoners are prepared to offer Winks and Moura as part of a deal to bring the Brazilian to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Both players have fallen down the pecking order under Antonio Conte, with the January arrivals of Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski costing the duo their respective places in the starting XI.

It’s been two years since Winks was a regular starter, while he was picked from the off just three times once the window closed. As for Moura, he made just two starts in the final four months of the campaign and hasn’t scored since Boxing Day.

What did Brown say about Winks and Lucas?

He told GIVEMESPORT: “They certainly do like Winks, while Lucas Moura has come up in talks, but there’s less of a push for Everton to sign him and there’s also the Dele Alli situation with Everton still owing Spurs money for him.”

Could Everton sign Winks and Lucas?

With Tottenham making huge strides of their own in the transfer window, Antonio Conte’s side will be willing to allow players to leave.

They’ve already signed Yves Bissouma, who becomes their fifth midfielder at the club, meaning Winks is now surplus to requirements and should be granted a move to Goodison Park, providing the move is right for both parties.

Moura might be slightly more complicated, though. Not only because he recently all-but confirmed he expects to stay at Spurs past this summer, but because Conte won’t want to lose him and Bergwijn in the same window.

But Moura is no longer considered a starter in N17, so if Tottenham receive a satisfactory offer for his services, especially if Richarlison is heading in the opposite direction, there’s no reason for Spurs to keep him for the sake of it, which could work in Everton’s favour.
