Evander is a man on a mission this season for the Portland Timbers, and he has been rewarded for his efforts with an MLS All-Star team selection.
The Brazilian has popped up with a goal and an assist so through just over an hour against FC Dallas Thursday evening, hitting a stunning milestone in the process.
After setting up Antony for the opener early in the first-half, the two Brazilians combined once again just past the hour mark to level the score.
This time it was Evander tapping home an Antony cross, though the former started the play from midfield.
That’s now nine games this season in which Evander has bagged two or more goal contributions, showing why he is perhaps one of the most underrated attackers in all of MLS.
Earlier this season Timbers coach Phil Neville claimed Evander was one of the best number tens in North America. Does he have a point?
