The Portland Timbers host bitter rivals Seattle Sounders this weekend as the two Cascadia clubs look to turn their seasons around.
Unfortunately for the Timbers however, star attacker Evander is a ‘major doubt’ heading into the weekend according to head coach Phil Neville.

The Brazilian has missed Portland’s last few matches with a knock that has seemingly grown into a more serious injury.
While earlier in the week Neville had stated that ‘everybody is fit’ heading into the derby showdown at Providence Park, that does not seem to be the case.
Both sides sit outside of the MLS Cup Playoff picture, but a win this weekend would go a long way towards rectifying their slow starts.
