Declan Rice is sweating over his fitness just as West Ham consolidated their place in the race for top four.

The midfielder appeared to have nailed a spot in the England side ahead of the Euro 2020 as well but a knee injury has sparked fears he could now miss the tournament.

However, the Athletic now say he could be back in four to five weeks, giving him a month to get fit before the summer tournament begins.

The report adds that Rice is thought to have suffered a small tear to his lateral knee ligament but has avoided further internal damage.
