Greek Super League side Aris Thessaloniki made a £4million offer to Fulham for the signing of striker Aboubakar Kamara, a report from Sky Sports Transfer Centre (25/06, 22:39) has claimed.

Kamara joined Fulham from Amiens back in the summer of 2017, and has since gone on to make 93 appearances in all competitions for the Cottagers, scoring 17 goals and twice helping the club win promotion from the Championship.

The 26-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan in France with Dijon as they suffered relegation from Ligue 1.

Now it seems as though Kamara could get the chance to move on from Craven Cottage permanently this summer.

Did these 20 midfielders ever score a goal for Fulham?

According to this latest update, Aris, who finished third in the Greek top-flight last season, have made an offer of at least £4million to Fulham for the signing of Kamara, and it now remains to be seen if that bid will accepted.

As things stand, there are still three years remaining on Kamara’s current contract with Fulham, securing his future at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2024, and putting the club in a strong position to negotiate any offers that come in for the attacker.

The Verdict

This could well be an offer worth considering for Fulham.

Kamara has never really been able to shine at Craven Cottage, and you don’t really get the feeling that he will be a key figure for them going forward, given his recent struggles for game time prior to last season’s loan move.

Indeed, the fee that Fulham could receive for Kamara could be useful financially, although his contract situation means you wonder whether the club might be inclined to push for a higher offer to accept.

As a result, with Kamara potentially keen on more regular, top-flight football as well, it may not be a big surprise if he does head to Aris at some point this summer.
