Oliver Glasner new Crystal Palace manager

According to Fabrizio Romano, the 49-year-old Europa League winner is set to be appointed as Roy Hodgson’s successor at Selhurst Park.

At the time of writing, this has not been made official by the Eagles with Hodgson having recently taken ill during a Palace training session.

However, the Austrian was spotted by journalist George Sessions from the press box with our next game coming against Palace on 2 March.

Spurs show their frailties

It really was a poor display from the Lilywhites on Saturday on a day when results did not go in our favour as the teams above us won and Aston Villa clinched all three points.

The victory for Unai Emery’s men saw them move back above us and into fourth spot. Manchester United will have the opportunity to close the gap down to just three points on Sunday.

We may have enjoyed the lion’s share of possession, but it was clear Michael Dawson was left frustrated by the lack of attacking threat resulting from the control of the ball.

The likes of Heung-min Son and James Maddison had seriously quiet afternoons and the in-form Richarlison was also unable to provide any impact on the game.

Maybe it is a good thing that we now have a two week break until our next game because there is a lot which needs to be fixed coming out of that performance against Wolves.
