Eintracht have appeared in all three UEFA club competitions in the past three seasons – the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League – and have reached the knockout stage on each occasion. They went all the way in the Europa League just over two years ago, lifting the trophy in Seville in May 2022.

New format

The Europa League – and indeed the Champions League and Conference League – will follow a new format from the 2024/25 season. Instead of a group stage, 36 teams will compete in a single league phase.

Draw on 30 August

Eintracht will discover their eight league-phase opponents when the draw takes place on 30 August.

Europa League matchdays

The eight league-phase matchdays in the Europa League will be held between 25/26 September and 30 January 2025.

In addition to the two German clubs, 11 other teams have already qualified for the league phase:

Eintracht Frankfurt, TSG Hoffenheim, Olympiakos Piräus, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, AS Rom, Lazio Rom, Athletic Bilbao, Real Sociedad, OGC Nizza, Olympique Lyon, AZ Alkmaar, FC Porto.

All other participating clubs will determined via the qualifying rounds, with the final line-up to be completed on 29 August after the play-off second legs.
