Taty Castellanos and Nuno Tavares could both be poised to return to the Lazio starting XI when the Biancocelesti take on Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League round of 16 second leg on Thursday evening.
Castellanos has missed the last five matches with an adductor injury, but Baroni confirmed in his pre-match press conference that the Argentine will be involved in the Europa League on Thursday night, although it remains to be seen whether he will be deemed fit enough to start.
The same goes for Nuno Tavares at left-back after sitting out of the 1-1 draw with Udinese in Serie A over the weekend.
There will be no Nicolo Rovella in the Lazio line-up as he misses out through suspension, so Matias Vecino is expected to partner Matteo Guendouzi in midfield instead.
Mattia Zaccagni, Pedro and Gustav Isaksen are all expected to start in attack, behind either Castellanos or Boulaye Dia.
Kick-off is due at 17.45 GMT.
Lazio (4-2-3-1): Provedel; Marusic, Patric, Romagnoli, Tavares; Guendouzi, Vecino; Isaksen, Pedro, Zaccagni; Castellanos
Viktoria Plzen (3-4-2-1): Jedicka; Dweh, Markovic, Jemelka; Memic, Cerv, Kalvach, Cadu; Sulc, Durosinmi; Vydra.
Tonight’s game will be available to watch TNT Sports 8 and online through Discovery+. Supporters in the USA will be able to tune via Paramount+. The game will be shown live on Sky in Italy.
