Euro 2024 is almost here and Germany is gearing up to host the biggest international tournament of the summer. We’ve got all of the details for the BVB Stadion, Dortmund ahead of what is sure to be a thrilling Euro 2024.
BVB Stadion, Dortmund will host six games at Euro 2024, including two knockout stage stage games and four group games, with the highest profile one being the clash between France and Poland in Group D.
BVB Stadion, Dortmund has hosted international football since its opening in 1974. Four games were played at the stadium at that tournament, with Netherlands playing three times in Dortmund.
The 2006 World Cup saw six games played, including the semi-final match between Germany and Italy and Brazil’s resounding 4-1 victory over Japan in Group F.
The ground serves as the home stadium for Borussia Dortmund and was the venue for Liverpool’s incredible 5-4 victory over Alaves in the 2001 UEFA Cup Final victory.
