Milan striker Luka Jovic came off the bench to grab a last-gasp equaliser, as Slovenia were held to their second 1-1 draw of EURO 2024.

There were numerous Serie A players on the field in Munich for this Group C game, including Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic and Torino midfielder Ivan Ilic.

Slovenia had pushed early with Elsnik’s scorcher off the upright and Milan transfer target Benjamin Sesko failing to turn the rebound on target.

Jan Oblak made two big saves on Aleksandar Mitrovic, but right-back Jan Karnicik was the surprise goalscorer when starting the run from his own half and making it to the back post to meet the return pass.

Karnicik also deflected another Mitrovic effort over, but Jovic came off the bench and popped up in stoppages with the equaliser for Serbia.
