🇪🇺 Euro 2024 group stage draw as it happened

The waiting is over, it’s time to find out who will be facing who at Euro 2024 as the group stage draw took place in Hamburg earlier tonight.
Here’s how it all went down.
18:53 – That concludes the Euro 2024 draw. Stick around for more reaction and analysis of the draw on the app throughout the evening.
18:52 – That completes the group stage draw, the draw in full looks like this:
France, Austria, Netherlands, Play-Off Winner A (Wales, Poland, Estonia, Finland)
Portugal, Turkey, Czech Republic, Play-Off Winner C (Greece, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Luxembourg)
18:51 – Play-off winner C (Georgia/Greece/Kazakhstan/Luxembourg) will slot into GROUP F.
18:50 – Play-off winner B (Israel/Bosnia and Herzegovina/Ukraine/Iceland) will go into GROUP E.
18:49 – Play-off winner A (Poland/Estonia/Finland/Wales) will join GROUP D.
18:48 – Serbia make up England’s group.
18:47 – Next out are Italy which mean they will face SPAIN and CROATIA.
18:46 – The first team out of Pot 4 are Switzerland which means they will join Group A with Germany, Scotland and Hungary.
18:45 – There are only three qualified teams in this pot – Italy, Serbia and Switzerland.
18:45 – This is it, the last round – time to fill out the final gaps.
18:44 – Slovakia join Belgium and Romania, so Czechia will face Portugal and Türkiye.
18:44 – Now this is tasty as Netherlands will meet France and Austria.
18:43 – Slovenia are out and they will face England and Denmark.
18:43 – Croatia will join Spain and Albania in GROUP B.
18:42 – Scotland are the first team out from Pot 3 and they will face Germany in the opening game of Euro 2024 in GROUP A.
18:42 – Now. it’s time for the teams from Pot 3 to find out their fates.
18:41 – So this is how it looks so far:
GROUP A: Germany, Hungary.
GROUP B: Spain, Albania.
GROUP C: England, Denmark.
GROUP D: France, Austria.
GROUP E: Belgium, Romania.
GROUP F: Portugal, Türkiye.
18:40 – Which means Türkiye will meet Portugal in GROUP F.
18:40 – Romania have been drawn into GROUP E to join Belgium.
18:39 – France will have to face Austria in GROUP D.
18:38 – There will be a re-run of the Euro 2020 semi-final as Denmark will face England in GROUP C.
18:38 – Albania are out next and they will join Spain in GROUP B.
18:37 – The first team out of Pot 2 are Hungary and they will face Germany in GROUP A.
18:35 – Now to find out what groups the teams from Pot 2 will go.
18:34 – Belgium are now out and they will slot into GROUP E, which means Portugal will be in GROUP F.
18:33 – France are next out, and they will be in GROUP D.
18:31 – Next out of Pot 1 are England and they take their place in GROUP C.
18:30 – The first team out of Pot 1 are Spain and they will be drawn into GROUP B.
18:26 – This isn’t news but just for confirmation, Germany will take up the first space in GROUP A.
18:25 – We’re about to get underway …
18:20 – They’ve got the full band out now, with Steve McManaman, Wesley Sneijder, Ricardo Quaresma and Sami Khedira looking sharp in suits out there to pull the balls out of the bag.

There will be six groups of four.
Each team will play three games with the group winners and runners-up progressing to the last 16, along with the best four third-placed teams.
It all kicks off on 14 June with the hosts Germany featuring in the opening game.
The final will take place on July 14 in Berlin.
18:03 – We are 196 days away from the kick off of the tournament, but it all starts here today – we are moments away from finding out who is going to play who.
18:02 – There are a few potential groups of death in action looking at those pots, with holders Italy being the team to avoid in Pot 4.
