Euro 2024: Every team to have qualified as Scotland book flights to Germany | OneFootball

Scotland are one of seven nations that have qualified for Euro 2024 ahead of next summer’s tournament in Germany.

As the host nation, the Germans automatically qualified for the European Championship, while the remaining 23 remaining spots are decided by a qualifying tournament and playoffs.

The teams that finish first and second in the ten qualifying groups will occupy 20 spots. The final three places will be determined by playoffs in March 2024.

Twelve nations will compete in the playoffs, but who makes up these teams will not be determined by their final position in the qualifying groups. Instead it is based on their performance in the Uefa Nations League in 2022/23.

England and Wales are yet to clinch qualification for the Euros.

What England and Wales need to do to qualify

England: The Three Lions need just one more win to qualify for Euro 2024. Victory over Italy on Tuesday would virtually seal top spot. For England not to qualify, Italy would need to beat England and win another two of their final four games, while Ukraine would need to win their final three qualifiers.

Wales: Before this week automatic qualification seemed like a long shot for the Welsh, but victory over Croatia on Sunday saw them jump from fourth to second in the table. If they win both of their final two qualifiers against Armenia and Turkey, or better Croatia’s results against Latvia and Armenia, they will qualify. If they finish outside of the top two they are almost certain to qualify for the playoff tournament.
