Chelsea have announced that versatile defender Ethan Ampadu has finalised his move to RB Leipzig.
The Wales international has joined the German club on a season-long loan deal.

Speaking for the first time after making the move official, the teenager believes it is wise to have joined a side with a proven track record of developing talent.
“I’ve followed Leipzig in the past years and I saw how fantastically young players have developed here and what potential this club has,” he said.
“That’s why it was the perfect choice for me.”
Ampadu made just five appearances for Chelsea last season, leading to the club deciding that a loan move would be best for all parties.
