Erling Haaland speaks out on injury status ahead of Real Madrid showdown | OneFootball

Manchester City star Erling Haaland has today provided an update on his fitness status.

As much, of course, comes after the prolific frontman set pulses racing across Manchester, in pulling up with what appeared to be an injury whilst training with the Norwegian national team.

Just weeks out from City’s Champions League double-header with Real Madrid, and with the race for the Premier League title in its home stretch, all of a Sky Blues persuasion were in turn no doubt desperate for an update on Haaland’s wellbeing.

And, as alluded to above, precisely that was forthcoming on Thursday, by way of none other than the attacker himself.

Speaking to the media during a press conference in Oslo this evening, Haaland was inevitably asked for the latest on his injury status.

And the 23-year-old, in his response, shut down any and all concerns, in assuring that he is ‘ready to play’ in his country’s upcoming fixtures against Czechia and Slovakia.

“I feel good, it is not true that I abandoned training,” Haaland began, as cited by Mundo Deportivo. “I don’t know who wrote this, I am ready to play.”
