Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has undergone a major transformation in the hairstyle department ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League clash.
City take on Bayern Munich at the Etihad Stadium in the first-leg of their quarter-final clash with the Bundesliga giants, as both sides look to take an advantage into the second portion of the tie at the Allianz Arena next week.
One man who will certainly be fired up for Tuesday night’s contest is goalscoring expert Erling Haaland, who further added to his staggering tally in front of the net on Saturday afternoon with two goals against Southampton in the Premier League.
Those efforts put Manchester City in control of their own destiny in the race for a third successive Premier League crown, after Arsenal were held to a thrilling 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.
Bayern Munich are an opponent Erling Haaland knows all too well, following his exploits in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund, and ahead of the game the sensational centre-forward has donned a sharp new look.
Appearing in the final training session ahead of Tuesday night’s clash against Thomas Tuchel’s side, the Norway international showcased a pristine set of plaits that he may look to bring into the contest at the Etihad Stadium.
The new look in the hairstyle department comes just days after Haaland’s fresh new bumper agreement with sportswear giants Nike – who will now be the 22 year-old’s boot manufacturer and predominant endorsement partner for the foreseeable future.
There is an understanding in various quarters that the agreement between Nike and Team Haaland is one of the most lucrative in the history of the game, as the City superstar rivals Kylian Mbappe for the throne available for football’s next biggest name.
Erling Haaland recently attended a glitzy unveiling ceremony in London at Nike’s flagship UK store, confirming his status as an athlete representing the sportswear super-brand and his ‘Force 9’ range.
