With just three games left in the Bundesliga campaign, Borussia Dortmund are just one point outside the Champions League places and will be desperate to finish the season strong.
However, in a potentially devastating turn of events, it’s likely that they will be without Erling Haaland for their huge clash with RB Leipzig on Saturday.
Haaland has missed the entire week of training with a muscle injury and Sport1 claim that the Norway international also missed out on training on Friday.
The 20-year-old was absent during Dortmund’s DFB-Pokal semi-final victory against Holstein Kiel and, until Friday, was highly expected to participate in Saturday’s crunch clash.
Even with Michael Zorc and Edin Terzić optimistic about his availability, it’s now expected that Dortmund won’t have a recognised striker this weekend as Youssoufa Moukoko is also injured.
In all likelihood, Thorgan Hazard should be deployed up top for the Black and Yellow.
Meanwhile, Gio Reyna has recovered from his calf injury and is likely to come off the bench.
