Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has added to his growing business portfolio, according to Bloomberg.

The 23-year-old won his second successive Premier League title last weekend as well as clinching a consecutive Premier League Golden Boot award, after scoring 27 goals in 31 league appearances during the 2023/24 campaign.

Haaland, who scored 38 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions, has netted 90 goals for Manchester City in just two seasons, after moving to the Etihad Stadium for £51 million from Borussia Dortmund in 2022.

The striker is one of the most high-profile players on the planet, and as well as becoming a two-time Premier League winner, the Norway international has also lifted the UEFA Champions League, Emirates FA Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup with the Sky Blues.

Haaland is contracted at Manchester City until 2027, and has 76 direct goal involvements in 63 Premier League appearances to date.

As well as success on the field, the Norwegian has been creating a business portfolio away from the pitch, with investments including hair bands, real estate and biopharmaceuticals.

Bloomberg report that Haaland has made a fresh business investment, purchasing 600,000 shares in the Oslo-based shipping bank ASA.

The Maritime & Merchant Bank is reportedly currently worth about $732,000, with Haaland now owning around 0.7% of the company following an investment through his business Pillage 3 AS.

The investment in the bank comes following the acquisition of shares in shipping company Hoegh Autoliners ASA, real estate firm Entra ASA, oilfield services investment company Akastor ASA and biopharmaceutical company Nykode Therapeutics ASA, according to an E24 report relayed by Bloomberg.

Meanwhile, Clash of Clans earlier this month unveiled Haaland as a surprise new character, with the Norwegian forward becoming the ‘Barbarian King’ in the popular mobile game, and first to be based on a real person.
