Eriksen trains with Jong Ajax as agent insists Prem return will happen

Christian Eriksen has been training with Jong Ajax this week.

The Dane returned to his former club to do some fitness work and see some old faces.

Eriksen, a free agent, has been linked with Ajax, though the midfielder's agent Martin Schoots maintains: "Christian wants to go to the Premier League, and I expect that to happen.

"He wants to go to a club where he can play as much as possible. To be able to play the World Cup, he needs to get fit and be active at the highest level."

Brentford, Newcastle and Leicester City are among clubs keen on the former Tottenham and Inter Milan star.
