Erik ten Hag has ruled out an immediate switch from Ajax to take over the Netherlands job after their early elimination at Euro 2020.

The KNVB announced that it had parted ways with De Boer on 29 June following their 2-0 loss to the Czech Republic in the round-of-16.

“The Dutch national team is very attractive, especially because I have a history with 75% of the selection. They are good players and if they form a good team, you can achieve a lot with them.

Erik ten Hag has been with Ajax since moving from Utrecht in December 2017, winning a total of five trophies.
