Following Ajax’s latest win over Willem II in the Eredivisie on Thursday, Ryan Gravenberch’s form was questioned.

Manager Erik ten Hag, however, was quick to shut down any suggestions the 19-year-old midfielder is lacking in quality as of late.

“He is not in a form dip at all, he is on the contrary reaching a stable level,” he said.

“We can always do better, that’s what we demand and he also demands that of himself. He is very critical of himself.”

“It is very clear and clear that he is at a very good level,” continued Ten Hag, who highlighted Gravenberch’s contributions to the match.
