Érik Lamela has been named as the Fifa Puskás Award winner for 2021.
He succeeds Tottenham’s Heung-min Son as the recipient for the most atheistically-pleasing goal from the past calendar year after finding the back of the net for Spurs against Arsenal in impressive style.
Lamela, who joined Sevilla over the summer, beat off other finalists Patrik Schick and Mehdi Taremi to claim the prestigious prize.
