Postecoglou will commence his tenure at Spurs this Saturday.

Dier will be among the first group to resume training under the Australian coach. The 29-year-old is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to impress.

While Postecoglou aims to bolster the squad with a new central defender, Dier, whose contract has only one year remaining, remains resolute about his future at Tottenham.

He is reportedly fully fit after successfully recovering from groin surgery in May. The injury has been bothering him since the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Dier is excited to work with Postecoglou and has not received any indication from the club that they are looking to offload him to accommodate new arrivals.

Furthermore, with the anticipated departure of captain Hugo Lloris, Dier’s leadership qualities are highly valued within the team.

Also, while Tottenham have not yet received any bids or direct approaches for midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Atletico Madrid have shown interest.

The club remains open to considering offers for the Danish international, given that he still has two years left on his contract.

In addition to potentially selling Hojbjerg, Tottenham want to offload several players, including Davinson Sanchez, Ivan Perisic, and Ryan Sessegnon.

Also, Giovani Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon are on that sales shortlist.

Furthermore, midfielder Harry Winks is reportedly on the verge of joining Leicester City.

The big question is around the future of Harry Kane. The Englishman could be on his way out of the club this summer. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy does not want to sell him.

Levy has forced Manchester United to turn to other players, despite earmarking Kane as their primary target.

However, Bayern Munich are pushing for Kane as they seek to add a world-class striker. The Bundesliga champions are forcing the issue, but Levy is a tough negotiator.

The North London club has already rejected two offers from the Bundesliga champions. Spurs want £100 million and nothing less for Kane.
