Eric Abidal has issued a categorical denial to a story that emerged earlier on Thursday the former Barcelona president Sandro Rosell purchased a black market liver for the Frenchman.
Abidal had a transplant in 2012 whilst he was still playing for the Blaugrana after a tumour was found on his liver.

Reports in Spain have suggested that Rosell, who has been jailed for money-laundering, purchased the organ on the black market and offered it to the veteran.
However, that has been strongly denied by the 38-year-old.
Abidal is currently working as the Camp Nou outfit’s technical secretary.
