Both teams are desperate to get some winning momentum as mid-table side NEC welcome bottom-of-the-table Cambuur to the Goffertstadion. The hosts dropped out of the KNVB Cup on penalties to Feyenoord but made the headlines after goalkeeper Mattijs Branderhorst made over 20 saves in the match but now have to address the league form as they sit 10 points above the relegation zone and 10 points behind the European spots.

Meanwhile, visitors Cambuur will be looking to attempt some sort of a battle to avoid relegation but one league win in their last 12 matches. Sjors Ultee will need to address his side’s lack of attacking threat having gone nine out of their last 12 matches without a goal.
