Southampton started the game on a higher note before Man City got control of the game in the first half and dominated it. The second half was very equally poised with City trying to attack more towards the dying minutes.
The hosts had 61% of ball possession with Joao Cancelo attempting the most passes (85) and Ruben Dias receiving the most with 62.

Southampton will be delighted to take a point from probable title contenders Manchester City away from home and keeping a clean sheet. However, Pep Guardiola’s men would be disappointed in them not winning a match at home they were favourites for – coming off the back of scoring six goals against RB Leipzig just a few days ago in the Champions League.
