Enzo Maresca has confirmed both Marc Guiu and Christopher Nkunku will be available for Chelsea’s game with Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The Blues head to the City Ground knowing they must beat Forest to guarantee their return to the Champions League.
Chelsea currently occupy the fifth and final Champions League spot, but are just a point ahead of Forest heading into the final day showdown.
A draw could be enough but Chelsea would have to rely on other results to go in their favour, and that’s not a position Enzo Maresca’s men will want to put themselves in.
Chelsea’s record away from home is poor in 2025 and they’ve won just one game on the road this calendar year against Fulham.

The Blues have also only managed one win against Forest since they got promoted back to the Premier League in 2022, and that was a 3-2 victory at the City Ground last season.
Levi Colwill has spoken of the need to limit Forest’s counter attacking threat, and it will be interesting to see who Maresca plays down the middle after Tyrique George struggled against Manchester United.
However, Maresca has confirmed some good news for the Blues with both Guiu and Nkunku set to be available for the Forest game.
“[Christopher Nkunku] is working with us in the last days, him and Marc Guiu,” he told his pre-match press-conference.
“Both can be available for the next game [vs Nottingham Forest]. “They can be available.”
Given Guiu hasn’t played since February it’s likely he will be on the bench at best on Sunday, which is likely going to be the same fate for Nkunku.
Chelsea face a critical two games for their season with the Conference League final just two days after the Forest clash.

It’s been reported Maresca is safe in his job regardless of how the season ends, but if Chelsea fail to qualify for the Champions League it won’t help the Italian’s standing with supporters.
Chelsea are thought to believe Maresca can become one of the best in the business, and if they truly think that they have to give him time and back him with what he needs this summer.
