Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has named the new signing who is already working well and who is very relaxed and easy right now.

Blues boss Enzo Maresca has already given his thoughts about new signings Liam Delap, Dario Essugo, and Mamadou Sarr who all join his squad out in America for the Club World Cup this summer.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea add two NEW strikers to their shortlist as well as Hugo Ekitike!

And it looks like Chelsea are still trying to add another new defender to the ranks as well, with an apparent offer being rejected for a Serie A star this week and other such links that have come up in recent weeks.

There will be plenty more incomings and outgoings at Chelsea during the long summer transfer window that will reopen tomorrow morning on the day Chelsea play their first Club World Cup game of the tournament that kicked off in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Chelsea arrived in USA

The Blues arrived in America over the weekend and began their training sessions right away ahead of the Club World Cup competition this month.

Chelsea have their first game this evening at 8pm UK time, facing Los Angeles FC who of course have a familiar face up top for them in the shape of former Blues player Olivier Giroud.

Liam Delap could play his first game in a Chelsea shirt tonight and might even start from the off, and Maresca has been pleased with him so far.

In quotes picked up on X, Maresca said:

“Liam [Delap] knows how important the no.9 is for this club. I see Liam relaxed and easy, since he arrived he’s working well. I know what he can give us and he knows what he needs to be a better player. As no.9, hopefully he can score goals for us.”
