Both Georgia Mullett and Lily Murphy were denied by the woodwork in the first half, then within ten minutes of the restart the Young Lionesses found themselves 2-0 down.

Linnea Sælen opened the scoring after just one minute of the second half, with Kamilla Melgård then doubling the advantage.

With just over 20 minutes remaining, Vivienne Lia fired into the top corner from 18 yards out to get England back in the game.

The equaliser came three minutes later, when Poppy Pritchard netted after Louanne Worsey’s cross was not cleared.
